Surviving Communism

I suppose, if my brother and I had become of age in Cuba, we would have had to learn to survive just like our generation left behind in the Island, had to do. As kids, we had already learned to keep quiet about the things our mom bought in the black market.

I remember one afternoon, when our neighbor Marino came over to hang out with us, he sat down and let out a sob and said, " Well, I just had some bread with a little bit of oil", and my brother who was about 7 years old at the time, responded, "Hum, at least you have oil!

I guess the saddest part is, that a people with so much spirit and rich history, have been reduced to scavenging for survival. Instead of building their country, writing, creating works of art, they fight for their next meal. This is the real legacy of communism; to break the human spirit, taking away people's basic needs so that they find it hard to think of anything else.

Obama Campaign boycotts WFTV in Florida

Barbara West of WFTV, a Florida TV station; quoted Carl Marx, "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs" and asked his a legitimate question, "Is Obamba a Marxist for wanting to spread the wealth?"

Bidden finished the interview, but the Obama Camp, has canceled all future interviews and is boycotting the Station for the rest of the campaign. They are attacking her character and trying to discredit her.

When the media asks the tough question, the Obama/Biden ticket tries to silence them. Is this what we have to look forward to, under an Obama presidency, when the questions start coming?

Redistribution of Wealth

At the time that my family and I arrived in this country, vie Spain, a person couldn't have been a member of the Communist Party and not even a young Pioneer. Nowadays, anybody can get in. I don't understand how is it possible that the US, has allowed itself to be invaded by so many communists and anti-Americans.

Obama says, with such ease, "redistribution of wealth". I heard that phrase many decades ago and can't believe I'm hearing it again, in the most unexpected place-The United Stated of America, by a presidential candidate. This is incomprehensible! The world is definitely, turning upside down.

It's amazing how blind people are about Obama. The only thing I see in his cheap roderic is communism, plain and simple. The leftist media, reports only what is convenient, specially Castro' News Network-I mean CNN and MSNBC follows right behind. The only one I can stomach is Fox News.
