Cuban Prisoner on Hunger Strike Wilman Villar Mendoza Died today

Wilman Villar Mendoza, a prisoner in a Cuban jail, died today after a hunger strike. Oficial cause of death was stated as "Multi Organ Failure" caused by a "Generalized Sepsis". Infomation was twitted by Cuban government paid twitters.

Cuban Dissident Murdered by Cuban Police!

Martha Roque, a prominent member of the Cuban oppossition reports the sad news that dissident Juan Wilfredo Soto Garcia, a member of the Coalición Central Opositora (oposition group), has passed away tonight, in Santa Clara, Cuba!! Garcia died of respiratory failure as a result of a beating received at the hands of Cuban opressive state police. Known to his friends as "El Estudiante" (the student), Garcia was beaten by the Santa Clara police last Thursday  and was hospitalized due to his injuries. A second recording from Cuba, confirms the death of Garcia.

American Allan Gross Convicted and Sentenced by the Castro Regime!

The Castro regime has just (simultaneously) announced the conviction and sentence of American development worker Allan Gross -- 15 years in prison.


Gross was trying to improve Internet access for the Jewish communisty in Cuba.

The Cuban Guitarrist and the Photographer are Free!

From Penultimos Dias there is imformacion that Ciro y Claudio, the guitarist and the photographer, have been set free and are back in Havana! The two were arrested early this week for attempting to visit Antunez, who has been in a hunger strike for the past months in protest for human right abuses by the Cuban communist regime.

Also liberated were, oposition leader Idania Yanes Contreras, who is pregnant. She is president of the "Coalición Central Opositora", (Central Opposition Coalition). She was set free on Monday, following two days of encarceration. Also freed were, Alcides Rivera Rodríguez, and activist Yuniesky García López. News confirmed by CUBAENCUENTRO.com.
