An Man Starves a Dog and Calls it Art!

If you are wondering why some Latin American countries are such a toilet-wonder no more!

In 2007, Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, grabbed a homeless dog, he tide him up with a short rope to a wall in an art gallery and left him there to starve to death. As part of the gruesome exhibit, the Sandinista Anthem played, to the delight of the visitors - Hmmm.........a communist! What else can we expect from one of them.

The incredible part is that he was invited to repeat this horrendous crime again at the Bienal Centroamericana Honduras 2008.

There is an online petition to try to stop him: To sign Petition and say no to animal cruelty!!

This idiot should be incarcerated and the gallery closed down, but this happened in Nicaragua and judging by what barbaric act is allowed there, that's not likely to happen. What dark heart must the gallery owners and the people who visited have, to be able walk in that gallery and not have any mercy for a poor defenseless dog.

Cuban Vice-President's Girlfriend Kills and Dismembers Young Lover

Accoding to Cuba's newspapers, in Cuba, nothing ever happens, but according to the digital newspaper Nuevo Accion , a horrendous crime of passion occurred in Havana, Cuba, two days ago, at the hands of the girlfriend of Cuba's Vice-President Carlos Lage. Lage's girlfriend, Laritza Ulloa, a television host, had another lover, much younger then she was. She stabbed him and them dismembered him in the bathtub of her house.

The Nuevo Accion adds that the Cuban police reports that, Laritza Ulloa, had discovered that her young lover had raped her daughter and that the dismemberment had been done by Laritza on her own, but according to Nuevo Accion, "in some government circles, "they suspect Carlos Lage was involved, due to the dismemberment been done with impeccable precision, from the surgical point of view and because everyone knows that the Vice-President of the Castro government is a doctor". Seems to me he would make a good candidate for the "Forensic Department", performing autopsies!

The photographs were sent out from inside the police. On their page the Nuevo Accion has published the horrendous photographs. I choose not to publish them here, due to the horrific and offensive content. I want to warn my readers that they are difficult to look at and if you impress easy, I suggest you use discretion. The two photos published by this newspaper are the least offensive and they are really graphic-the others were according to the digital newspaper, too disturbing.

But remember, nothing ever happens in Cuba!!

UPDATE:

This story continues to be unconfirmed, since there is no free press in Cuba. Adding to the confusion, there are three Laritza's on Cuban TV-Latitza Vega, Laritza Camacho and Laritza Ulloa, who is the only one linked to the Vice President Carlos Lage. I tried to find a video of Laritza Ulloa and the only one I found has been deleted.

We might never know the truth at this rate!

Che Film Opening in Los Angeles

This week, Benicio Del Toro was in Havana celebrating the opening of “Che,” a film that glorifies the Butcher of La Cabaña.

We must not remain silent, we, Cuban exiles, Cuban Americans, and those who know the truth, have a responsibility to that truth. Just as there is no film glorifying Hitler or Stalin, this film is an abomination that should not have been made.

Since When is Che a Hero?

Every time I see a teenager with Che Guevara's picture plastered on a T-shirt I feel sad. I wonder if they even know who this man really was. The truth is; they don't know, but they think they do and they proudly ware his picture.

Cubans on the other hand, know too well who this man was. An Argentinian mercenary and mass murderer who by his own admission executed and send thousands of Cubans to the firing squads, without luxury of a trial. During the first years of the Castro regime, Che was the head executioner. He is also responsible for founding the work camps, where the opposition were sent, including my father, who did nothing against the communist regime.

My Spanish teacher in High School, once told me, that as a University Student in Havana, she attended a rally, where the Comandante Che Guevara was speaking and she said, that he was a handsome man, that he had blue eyes, and a bigger than light persona, but that she had never seen so much hate, in one man's eyes as she did in his.

I remember as a student in Cuba how his image was used by the Communist Regimen to indoctrinate us. Our teachers used to tell us, that he was still alive and one day, my little brother came home and told my mom, that Che and all the others were still alive and that he should think Che for the shoes he was wearing. My mom, who was a rebel said......___Really, well let me have those shoes your wearing and go tell Che, to buy some knew ones-good grief. I know they meant that he was alive in all of us, but let me tell you, that sack of crap was not alive in me. I hated Communism from the moment I took my first breath.

In part their brainwashing was successful, but for the most part, the majority of us new better; we just couldn't say anything. The reality was that Fidel Castro send Che to Bolivia in the sixties and abandoned him. He left him there to die, because he couldn't take the competition. Che was outshining him and that was just not acceptable. In the end he was shown the same mercy, he had given his victims.
